Essential Fatty Acids

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that with the low-fat diets of the last 30-odd years there has been an increase in MS and other neuro-degenerative myelin-related conditions? And allergies? And asthma? When I was a child, there was no asthma – we were just “wheezy”.
Essential fatty acids are just that – essential. So we need to consume an appropriate amount of “good” oils and fats either in our diets or by supplementation. I am not a dietitian or nutritionist, but some things are so self evident. That’s why butter, not margarine. Olive or rice bran oil. Fish. Avocado.
Everything in moderation, nothing in excess.

Yes! Those healthy oils–flax, olive, even coconut… Gotta have ‘em in your diet! And watch out for that pesky high fructose corn syrup–that’s the worst!
