Swine Flu – should I panic yet?
Posted Under: General Health, Vaccination/Immunisation
Pandemic? What’s a pandemic?
Pandemic: An epidemic (a sudden outbreak) that becomes very widespread and affects a whole region, a continent, or the world. As against an epidemic, which affects more than the expected number of cases of disease occurring in a community or region during a given period of time. A sudden severe outbreak within a region or a group.
The main thing is DON’T PANIC!
It’s still just a ‘flu. Just because it’s now called swine flu, and the one before that was avian flu, it’s still just a form of influenza. Take the usual precautions. Do not allow yourself to be vaccinated or immunized unless that’s truly your belief. Make sure you understand the risks first. And the side effects of Tamiflu can be virtually the same as the ‘flu that you are trying to avoid.
And go to bed, rest, drink lots of fluids, take mild analgesia for the aches and pains.
And then read this report [link here] from Dr Mercola.
This is a MUST READ!
And these reports [link here] and [link here] from Health Freedom USA. And this article [link here] about the swine flu hoax.
Remember, thousands of people die each year from influenza. As from other illnesses. So why the outcry about this particular strain? Is there a hidden agenda?

What I don’t understand is why the Mexican borders/ports etc were not closed if it was so serious? Why is the US allowing people in from Mexico when they know the current risk?
Why are we allowing flights from Mexico to land in our airports and those on board then allow to potentially spread the flu further?
It’s too late now, but Mexico as a whole should have become quarantined, no way in and no way out.

Hello…thank you so much for such an informative and well written post on this horrendous flu that is spreading like wildfire.
I think what most people are concerned about is it ability to override all vaccines.
I have forwarded your info to a few people already.
Again thank you!

Remember Greg – it’s flu! Not the plague!
I agree that its too early to panic. It may be just another flu and we should remember that people will react differently to the virus.
I wonder how many people each year die from the ordinary flu, whatever that strain it is that year. We might be surprised.
We could also help ourselves and prepare by making sure we eat well overall including plenty of citrus fruits, garlic and chili to help our immune systems.
From what I understand the concern about strains such as bird flu and swine flu is that they are not simply a new strain of last year’s flu, they are a new strain from a completely different source, that can jump from animals to people, and vice-versa, instead of being human-specific. This could mean the disease could spread more quickly, and that it could be harder to develop countermeasures.
But still, this hasn’t exactly been the Black Plague so far, so there’s no reason to panic.
Always good perspective from you!
Dr Mercola’s report sure gets one thinking.

Based on the actions of our government, i.e. no action as regards protecting our borders, this is no big deal – just something extra for the press to go on & on about.
It wasn’t long ago that there was a frenzy about the newlywed with a strain of TB, remember?
Next week it will be something else …

I survived the Swine Flu scare in the 70’s. I even got the big gun shot in the arm. Then… the press came out and scare the hell out of all of us that got that SHOT! Sigh… we pray
